AFP Annual Review 2010-2011
Dear Supporter,
AFP has witnessed another successful year of inspiring communities to make a positive change in the world and work towards a sustainable future. We have enthusiastically taken our three projects-‘Surdarshan’, ‘Naitika’ and ‘Gyaan Yatra’ under Jagruti (Development Awareness) programme to the next stage, all of which is manifested in depth in our attached Annual Review 2010-11.
With continued financial support from the Department of International Development (DFID), we were able to make measurable progress towards long lasting constructive changes in the UK and also in India. We are proud to be awarded the International Goodwill and Understanding Award from the Rotary Club Bangalore Cantonment for our consistent efforts to strengthen the relationship between the Diaspora community in the UK and development initiatives in India.
AFP firmly believes that every individual can be a change maker in his own right and make a positive contribution towards betterment of the world. The contribution may happen in form of donation or raising awareness across the community, but eventually it will lead to a better world with a sustainable future.
We would like to thank all our supporters, donors, volunteers, trustees for their continued support and look forward to engage with you all in the coming year.
With best wishes,
Bala Thakrar
AFP Director
